cls: cookie monster blue! the first sofa i've ever owned, transported in the first u-haul i've ever rented, on tuesday. oy vey. i used to always prefer not owning things: the minimalist aesthetic. but i really like this.

jif: i went for the red i'd always dreamt of when i moved into my place 2.5 years ago. not the first sofa i've ever owned, but the first i didn't have to make compromises over with a boyfriend now long gone. there's something about owning a sofa that makes one feel like an adult.

INTERIORS
This week we will explore a single theme: interiors, especially (but perhaps not limited to) the interiors of our own homes. Things domestic, whether soft or hard. So, come inside.

cls: I sewed these curtains by hand, one hot summer night with blues on the radio. No more flashing the neighbors!

jif: This newspaper rack, however, still awaits mounting in the kitchen. Got it at Ikea a few days ago, where I also had a big portion of delicious swedish meat balls.
